Thunder Select Director and Coach James Mayfield grew up playing lacrosse in Atlanta where he fell in love with the game. James was a standout player earning All State accolades from Woodward Academy and played club lacrosse for Thunder. James went on to play college lacrosse for Rhodes College where he also played football. James has been coaching for Thunder for the past three years and has developed a strong interest in coaching and developing players. Coach Mayfield looks forward to working with Thunder Select this summer.
