Coach Pat grew up in Peachtree City, and started playing lacrosse in 8th grade. After playing at McIntosh High School, Coach Cheney played in the MCLA at Georgia State University, being selected Defensive Captain as a sophomore. After graduation, Coach continued his love for lacrosse by serving as Head Community Coach at North Atlanta High School from 2011-2013, as well as coaching with Northside Surge.Prior to returning to North Atlanta for the 2016 season, Coach Cheney coached with Fairfield Youth Lacrosse (Connecticut), and served as the Defensive Assistant Coach for McIntosh High School. Coach Pat has spent his summers coaching travel lacrosse since 2015. During the day, Coach Pat teaches 9th grade English Language Arts at North Atlanta High School.
